Feast of St. George, best wishes to all!

Dear,
on the feast of our patron saint, I wish each and everyone, following the example of St. George, to be always ready to do good even overcoming ordeals.
We do this by including the words of our founder

"As a patron saint, St. George had chosen because he was the only saint who was also a knight. He is the Patron Saint of the Cavalry, and is particularly revered in England. Now, St. George is also the patron saint of Scouts from around the world, so all Scouts should know his story.

St. George was born in Cappadocia in the year of the Lord 303. At seventeen he enlisted as a trooper, and soon became famous for his courage. Once he arrived in a town called Selem: near this town there lived a dragon which had to give each day a meal of population, chosen at random. The day came, St. George, the lot had fallen on the king's daughter, Cleolinda. San Giorgio decided that she does not die, and then came out to fight against dragon who lived in a nearby marsh, and killed him. San Giorgio was the model that should inspire us every Scout. When faced with a difficulty or a danger, however great it was (even in the form of dragon) he avoided him, nor feared, but faced with all the strength that could instill in him and his horse.

Although it was not properly armed for this fight (he was just a spear) rushed its opponent, did his best, and eventually managed to overcome a difficulty against which no one dared try. And this is how a Scout should face the difficulties and dangers, for it may seem big and scary, and even though he may be ill-equipped for battle. Must meet them boldly and confidently, and use all its best option to try to overcome them: and in this way is likely to smile on the success. The feast of St. George is April 23. On this day, all the true Scouts will make a special duty to meditate on the Promise and the Scout Law: remember this, the next April 23. and send a greeting to all the brothers scout in the world.
