scout year is now running out. Imagine the excitement of the children in the housings for the preparation of the upcoming summer camp and activity leaders to give staff in the latest filings from that to be the most challenging adventure of the year.
BP wrote "... I am sure that a week or two of this life-to-field is the best nursing care and the best that there is a tonic for both the mind and the body, both for boys and for both the old folks! And the field is both a great educator ....." (from Headquarters' Gazette, September 1911).
Our hope for the fields that we are moving into is just that the field is for us and for kids who are entrusted to us an opportunity to grow together and to live intensely the size of the outdoor life that brings us closer to Creator "God has given us, to live in a world full of beautiful things and wonderful, and gave us not only eyes to see, but the mind to understand them, if only we care to look at in that light" ( Last post by guides).
